The project started in 2009 with 4 village-based farmer groups. The below charts will give an overview of the project development from it was started until its ownership was handed over to the local partners in Bac Son in 2016 after 7 years of implementation .
Both the number of households in the project villages and the beneficiaries are increasing…
… the proportion of households covered by the benneficiaries is increasing sifnificantly.
The number of clients who are raising the project cows and not yet paid back their loan have been changed over the years because of two reasons: some cows died and the clients stepped out of the project.
From the 2nd year, the project begins adding new clients who receive a female calf from the first clients to its beneficiary’s list. At the time when the project was handed over, the cows were passed to the 3rd generation of clients already.
These are actual number of cows recorded by the end of each year is changing over the years and excluding the cows which are sold by the beneficiaries. Therefore, it is not reflecting the right increasing trend of the total number of cows.
Excluding the cows sold by the beneficiaries, these are the total values of all project cows being estimated according to market prices by the end of each year.
