In 2019, AM works closely with Bac Son to open a new Cow Bank Project in Lang Ga and Lan Hoen villages, Tran Yen commune. The location and client selection took longer time than planned because the first two potential villages have a strong movement of young people going to work in the factories far away from home. AM and the district planned to finish the selection of clients by the end of Jun 2019, obtain the official approval from Lang Son province by the end of Aug 2019. By the end of Dec 2019, 40 first clients have been selected and 2 farmer groups have been formed. AM has obtained all official approval from the province level in or der to sign a contract with a dealer who will supply qualified cows to the project participants. All 40 cows and 2 bulls will be purchased and provided to the beneficiaries in the first quarter of 2020
