In November 2018, two years after the ownership of the project cowherds had been received by local partners, a Cow Contest was held in Khua Ca village, Tran Yen commune, Bac Son district, Lang Son province. This is the first event of this kind to praise the successful clients and encourage the successive clients of the Cow Bank Project. The contest was participated by twenty three clients of all 4 generations of beneficiaries. The prizes were bestowed to the best three beneficiaries whose cows were the most productive ones. During this event, AM also wanted to say thank to the clients who were patient and reliable to take good cares of their cows and had given a calf to another client. AM appreciated the work of the local project officers who have been cooperating very closely with AM’s Project Officers over the past 10 years.
The First Prize was given to Hoang Van Nhuoc who is blessed with 11 calves have been delivered for his family:

The Third Prize was given to Be Van Dong who is blessed with 9 calves have been delivered for his family:
Among 78 households of the village, 48 families are the project beneficiaries and have benefited from the project cows.
